Photographs of our children, pets, and special "life" events are amoung our most valuable possessions. They are a powerful way to record our lives.
My biggest regret is not knowing more about my Dad, who he was, what he liked and who his friends were. Through photography we communicate who we are, share our lives with our family and friends, and touch future generations who will want to "know us".
Photography is not about stiff, unnatural looking poses. Capturing the emotions and interactions between family members are the key factors in good photography.
At Not Your Typical Photography, we're not about forced smiles, stiff poses, or ugly backdrops.
